The Brief

We may have worked with some truly iconic food & drink brands over the years, but in the world of peanut butter, they don’t get much more recognisable than SKIPPY®!

The second-largest peanut butter brand in the US, this year marks the first time their eye-catching blue jars and ‘smoothly satisfying’ consistency have hit UK shelves.

As SKIPPY® is new to UK audiences, their only major goal is to become a household name for British consumers, which made our brief a very simple one:

Create social media content that drives engagement and awareness of the brand, and make sure everyone knows about the next big thing in UK peanut butter!

Our Approach 

SKIPPY® is known for its smoother, creamier texture in comparison to other peanut butters, and it’s that USP which has helped make it a market mainstay in the States.

We didn’t want to change the core values that have made it such a roaring success there, and so when developing a content plan for their Facebook and Instagram, we utilised some of their existing US content and centred our campaigns around building awareness for that main USP – as the smooth consistency is unlike anything else on the UK market!

The social content is here to drive awareness along with support their TV campaign with content that celebrates the family-focused side of the brand, with recipes and activities a mainstay on their feed.
