The Brief

The UK’s most beloved blue cheese brand, Saint Agur has been something of a dream client for us – and a chance to experience the more refined and indulgent world of premium food marketing.

But as much as Saint Agur might currently have that reputation, it’s been our mission to help make their social media more accessible and appealing to a younger online audience – without alienating their existing disciples!

Our Approach 

We’ve created a new look and feel for Saint Agur by integrating more graphics, typography and motion into their posts.

Our graphics revel in combining three shades of blue to form a recognisable and unique colour scheme, while a combination of elegantly handwritten and bolder print copy reflects the brand’s wish to be seen as sophisticated but approachable.

These have then been able to come to life through motion graphics and reels, helping the recipe content pop and connect with younger audiences who tend to respond better to video recipes as opposed to those in body copy.

To help Saint Agur appeal to a wider audience, we also created a tone of voice which moves away from the overly-indulgent language expected of them – fashioning a simplistic and friendly voice that remains classy, but not elitist

In terms of the content itself, we’ve also looked to inject it with more excitement and enthusiasm, as Saint Agur has scored huge partnerships this year, teaming up with the likes of revered chef Raymond Blanc and the Academy of Cheese!

By forming content plans, competitions and recipe posts around these partnerships, we’ve been able to further increase engagement on socials and rally up even more passion for a sinful slice of blue!a
