If 2016 has taught us anything it’s that with this many celebrity deaths we should have already formed a human shield around Sir David Attenborough and Mary Berry, Apple have definitely lost their way and that the general public shouldn’t be trusted with anything important.

Case in point: Boaty McBoatface , the EU Referendum and now…

Sure it might not affect us as much as our US cousins, and since we voted to leave the EU it’s probably best bad case scenario for the UK, but WTF. How can a racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic, egotistical liar be trusted with the running of an entire nation. It beggars belief.

Naturally, the world was divided. People cheered, others cried and called for a recount but that won’t change anything. Here’s the best reactions we saw to Trumps shock win:

The Grand Tour

Things aren’t all bad though. Everyone’s favourite trio of car enthusiasts returned to TV. Kind of. The Grand Tour launched on 18th November to mixed reaction. It’s not that it’s bad, it’s essentially Top Gear with the Great British Bake Off’s tent, but very over the top and I for one am not sure where the series will go.

The opening sequence was good though and reportedly cost around £2.5 million.

Black Friday

Everyones favourite shopping day returned and as usual America went nuts, and the UK seemingly  wasn’t that bothered or impressed.

The Backpack Challenge

We’ll close this blog with a look at the latest online challenge sensation – The Backpack Challenge, apparently it’s a new thing that funnily I remember doing way back in Primary School. Oh how quickly the internet forgets.
