Christmas campaigns come in all shapes and sizes, but none are as tasty as this year’s perfectly pickled campaign from Mrs Elswood. As the UK’s leading pickle brand (4 jars sold every minute no less!) Mrs Elswood has fast become a staple in many household cupboards and Christmas is the ultimate pickle eating season.

THE CAMPAIGN

Christmas is a time for giving and for making a positive impact in the lives of others so in collaboration with our client, who wanted to create a campaign around painting their products, we teamed up with local artists to paint a selection of Mrs Elswood jars that were given away through social competitions and an influencer collaboration. ‘Good Dill Deeds’ were shared daily on Instagram stories.

The campaign exceeded over 2.5 million impressions and reached 1 million individual consumers.

DESIGN
To bring Mrs Elswood’s ‘Season of Good Dill’ Christmas campaign to life we decided to take their core green colour (used on all their graphics), and adapt the colour to make it more festive… Taking inspiration from the one and only Grinch. The next step was to develop other key elements of the campaign such as secondary colours, fonts and the lead banner. In this instance, a festive red was selected to complement the new campaign green, sparkles applied to add that festive magic, and finally some snow – because let’s face it we can all wish for that elusive white Christmas.
