Being the newest member of the team is always a bit daunting, as it so often is when started a new job it’s been a whirlwind… but a good one! I’ve felt so warmly welcomed into the family, which is exactly what it feels like here at Brilliant, a family. You can ask anyone anything and they’ll drop everything to help you out.

The team here, what can I say? It’s nice to see an array of different talents to ensure we have got all our clients’ needs covered, from branding, content creation, ads strategy and implementation to email marketing and everything else in between. Everyone works fluidly together offering support and expertise which is comforting as the newbie.

I’ve also been lucky enough to meet most of my clients and it’s been an enjoyable experience to learn about their brands and what they want from their marketing and social media. It’s been exciting to learn what we can do to help them overcome their challenges and reach their objectives.

But what I really like here at Brilliant, is that there’s a wealth of training on offer to really help you feel comfortable in your role and opportunities to advance your knowledge with official certifications should you want too. For a small company, the focus really is on you and equipping you with what you need to be the very best you can for your clients and building your skillset.

It’s been a fleeting month and a half. I’ve been in a photoshoot or three, dressing sets and arranging food (top-tip: working predominately with food and drinks brands means you get to eat everything afterwards!) and I’ve learned more than I could have imagined. Now, onto the next month!
